We had 6 teams today at Welling so split into 2 groups to give everyone at least 2 matches. 'Two Men and a Boy' topped group 1 but got beaten in the semi finals by group 2 runners up, Jordan's. Sevenoaks were group 2 winners and beat 'Sidcup Supremes' in a deciding frame to reach the final. Sevenoaks had managed a win over Jordan's in the group stage but in the final Jordan's got their revenge and came through 5-1 winners. Ben Trowell got the highest break of the day, a 68 in his first match. Harry Compton made a 63 in the final and Rob Molinari only dropped one frame all day. Congratulations Jordan's on a great team performance.

We had 12 entries today so split into 4 groups of 3 and played a round Robin with the top 2 from each group qualifying for the quarter finals. Last year's winners Amrik Cheema and Keith Matthews lost 2-1 to Lun Lee and Danny Bush, a last minute partnership put together after Lun's original partner had to drop out. Lun and Danny then beat Neil Jefferis and Adrian Frisby 2-1 and then went on to victory in the final too beating Rob Molinari and Ben Trowell 2-0. Congratulations Lun and Danny, two players who had never met before today and are now Kent Pairs champions.
